TIA SCOLA

Making her home in Nashville in September 2014, Tia has really made a splash in the community as both a songwriter and an artist. With a genuine love for life and people, she has been able to make great headway with her career. Tia’s writing is extremely introspective and honest, hitting hard with powerful and catchy melodies. With influences like Billy Joel, Top 40 Radio, and musical soundtracks, she has quite the eclectic palette that shines through in her music. You can catch her around town playing numerous shows at the local venues, or when she’s not performing or writing, she’s most likely doing the “Phoebe Run” down 12 south.

MATT ROY

ASCAP Winner

I am a country singer-songwriter from New Jersey. I have been cutting my teeth in Nashville for the past two years and making important connections within the music industry. Through this time, I have created a niche of songwriters, which has lead to an improvement of songwriting and success. This success includes a cut on Kane Brown's upcoming album (Pull It Off).

CARTER HARRELL

My name is Carter Harrell. I am an indie folk singer/songwriter currently based in Nashville, TN. Born and raised in Nairobi, Kenya, I grew up in a different musical environment than most. But from an early age, I knew I wanted to pursue my passion of music. Despite the limitations of living far from a thriving music industry, I invested myself into writing and recording my own music. I engaged the local music scene, performing wherever I could, and my first recorded song became a number one single on the local radio charts. In the fall of 2013 I moved to Nashville, TN and am currently a student at Belmont University and pursuing my career as a musician.

I create music that speaks to a blend of folk and popular styles, with a uniquely raw and organic sound that mends with the honest experiences and emotions portrayed in the lyrics.

Round two | december 5th

LUKE OLSON

My name is Luke Olson. I was born and raised in Washington State. I am currently in a band with my brother called "The Olson Bros Band" which we started about 4 years ago where we have kept busy touring on and off the past few years! I grew up loving sports, the outdoors, and have always loved listening to all types of music including rock, hip-hop and especially country.

LAUREN MCLAMB

Lauren McLamb is a country/pop singer/songwriter from the small town of Erwin, North Carolina. She began performing across the state of North Carolina after winning a county-wide talent competition. At age 17, she was asked to perform with her favorite band Train on their California 37 World Tour stop in Raleigh, NC which sparked ambitions of being a professional musician herself. Shortly after, she moved to Nashville to attend Belmont where she also picked up a passion for songwriting. Three years and over a hundred original songs later, she's performing and cowriting all over Nashville. She is a proud member of Song Suffragettes, a weekly show at The Listening Room showcasing up and coming female songwriters and in early 2016, she was a top 8 finalist in Grammy U's Songwriter Showdown. She is excited to continue telling stories through her music and can't wait to see where her songwriting journey will take her from here!

Currently a student at Belmont University in Nashville, TN, Jordan’s blend of “real emotion and catchy pop melodies” is evident in his songwriting and artistry. With fierce determination, Jordan continues to chase his childhood dream of becoming a professional artist and songwriter.
